Trombone Champ: Unflattened launched on November 26, 2024, and Flat2VR Studios has supported it with a steady stream of free updates and paid DLC ever since. At launch, the developer explicitly stated that free updates and DLC were already in the pipeline. Post-launch, the studio delivered consistently: a winter holiday update in December 2024, a free update with new environments and trombones in January 2025, a spring "Get a Grip" cosmetics update in April 2025, the first paid DLC (UNDERTALE + DELTARUNE Song Pack) in August 2025, a Halloween Pack in October 2025, the Celeste Song Pack in December 2025, and most recently Disney Movie Magic Volume 1 on August 20, 2026 — just six days before today's date. Now that this DLC has shipped, the teaser has been fulfilled and no new specific future content has been announced beyond it. However, the developer's sustained cadence of releases — roughly every 2–4 months — is well-established, and the store description explicitly calls out "new trombones regularly," signaling the developer's ongoing commitment to expanding the game.
