Truck Driver

Truck Driver launched on Steam on May 27, 2021 and has received a steady stream of patches and content updates over the years. The most significant post-launch content was the Heading North DLC, which launched on April 26, 2024, adding a Nordic-inspired map, new characters, and fresh missions. Prior to that, four paint job DLC packs released in July 2021, and the Hidden Places & Damage System content was integrated into the base game via a March 2024 patch. In June 2025, SOEDESCO added official macOS support, showing continued maintenance of the game. All five DLC listed on the store are marked as released — there are no announced or unreleased DLC entries remaining. The most recent developer communication of any kind was a May 29, 2026 news post announcing a new standalone game in the franchise, "Truck Driver: The American Dream," rather than new content for this game. The developer has not announced any further DLC or updates for the original Truck Driver, and the historical cadence of major content releases (with Heading North being the only major paid expansion after years of development) does not suggest another expansion is imminent. With all DLC shipped, no outstanding commitments, and the studio's attention now directed toward a successor title, the game appears to be content-complete as of the Heading North DLC release on April 26, 2024.
