Evaluation

Tulpa launched on January 29, 2015. On its one-year anniversary in January 2016, the developer posted a message acknowledging the game's standing and expressing intent to continue delivering fixes and features "in a slow pace." That gradual maintenance posture appeared to play out over the following years. On September 21, 2019, the developer published what turned out to be the last recorded communication: they had regained full control of the game after their publishing contract with Rising Star Games ended, issued a round of puzzle refinements and bug fixes, and permanently reduced the price to one-third of its original cost. The tone of that post — a retrospective look at nearly five years, a price cut marking a milestone, and a vague mention of "more to come in the near future" — reads more like a quiet closing chapter than the start of a new content cycle. No further posts, patches, DLC announcements, or developer communications have appeared since September 21, 2019. There is no DLC listed on the store, no roadmap, and no unreleased content of any kind. The store description presents the game as a complete, self-contained experience. Given the absence of any developer activity since September 2019 and no outstanding content commitments, the game appears to have settled into its finished state as of that last update.
Evidence
Developer regained control of the game after the publishing contract ended, released a round of puzzle fixes and minor improvements, and permanently lowered the price. Mentioned 'more to come in the near future' but this is the last known communication from the studio.
