Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion launched on April 22, 2021. Shortly after launch, the developer published a roadmap on April 28, 2021 outlining a planned free content update. That update — The Sunset Station Update (v1.1.0) — shipped on August 26, 2021, adding an infinite train dungeon, new enemies, new hats, trinkets, a daily challenge, and more. A follow-up patch (v1.1.0f2) on September 1, 2021 addressed balance and bugs from that update. This fulfilled the developer's post-launch content commitment. After August 2021, no further content updates were made to this game. Developer attention shifted to a sequel: Turnip Boy Robs a Bank was announced on September 14, 2022 and released on January 18, 2024. Most recently, on November 13, 2025, Snoozy Kazoo announced an entirely new game — Rizz Dungeon: Skeleton Key to My Heart — noting they have been "shifting focus to smaller, juicier games." There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced future content for Tax Evasion, and no signals of any planned return to this title. The game launched as a complete adventure, received one substantial free content expansion, and has been finished since August 26, 2021.
