Turtle Riders launched on March 23, 2025 as solo developer Solenya's first game. After launch, the developer was consistently communicative and active: a state-of-the-game post appeared on March 27, 2025, followed by multiple bug-fix patches in late March, feature updates 1.1 (April 3, 2025) and 1.2 (April 13, 2025), and the more substantial Update 1.3 on December 15, 2025, which added controller support, a new trading center, and significant balance and system changes. At the close of the Update 1.3 post, the developer explicitly wrote: "Next update will probably focus on new content with 1 new turtle and 2 new weapons." This is a direct statement of planned additions from the developer. However, as of September 24, 2026 — more than nine months after that December 15, 2025 post — there have been no further news posts, patches, or communications from Solenya. The promised content has not appeared on the store. Before this silence, the developer had maintained an active posting cadence throughout 2025. The combination of an unfulfilled content promise and an extended, unexplained silence is a concern for anyone waiting on that update.
