Twinsen's Little Big Adventure 2 Classic is a re-release of the 1997 original game. It received a significant 25th Anniversary update on May 31, 2022, which added Steam Achievements, Cloud Saving, controller support, input remapping, a New Game+ mode, windowed support, and an auto-centered camera. A companion "Original Edition" DLC was also released on the same date, preserving the unmodified classic version. That DLC is now released and no unreleased DLC remains on the store. The developer's attention has fully shifted to new projects: a remake of LBA1 titled "Little Big Adventure – Twinsen's Quest" launched on November 15, 2024, and a remake of LBA2 titled "Little Big Adventure – Purple Empire" was announced on April 28, 2025 with a Steam wishlist page. Neither of these are updates to this Classic game — they are separate titles. The studio is also developing an unrelated co-op mecha game called S.Y.N.C. The last update to this Classic game itself was the May 31, 2022 anniversary patch. No further content for this game has been announced or implied since that date.

Originally released in 1997 as Little Big Adventure 2 or Twinsen's Odyssey, Twinsen’s Little Big Adventure 2 Classic is a memorable action-adventure game that stole many players’ hearts with its charm, quirkyness and humour.

After saving the planet, Twinsen and Zoé live a happy and peaceful life on Citadel Island when new trouble arises. Aliens from the planet Zeelich land on Twinsun and strange things start to happen. Who are these Esmers? Are they friends or foes? Twinsen needs to put on his Ancestral Tunic once again and investigate. With the help of his friend Jeróme Baldino and fiancée Zoé, he needs to become a wizard, level up his magic, fly into space and uncover ancient mysteries that threaten both Twinsun and Zeelich!
