Little Big Adventure – Twinsen’s Quest

Little Big Adventure – Twinsen's Quest launched on November 14, 2024 as a full remake of the 1994 classic. Since launch, the developer [2.21] has been actively adding content and improvements. On April 28, 2026, the studio announced it had taken over self-publishing from Microids on all platforms, declaring "The story is far from over." One week later, on May 5, 2026, they shipped Patch 1.1.3, which restored a previously cut portion of the Temple of Bù level (making it 50% larger) and explicitly closed with "We're planning more patches." Most recently, on October 7, 2026 — just one day before today's assessment — the developer opened a public preview branch for a major upcoming update. This update adds co-op play for up to 3 players on the same screen, multiple new combat and gameplay options (impact freeze, melee combos, magic ball ricochets, a revamped lock-on system), a new snow costume for Twinsen, menu polish, and a native macOS (Apple Silicon) version. The developer is actively collecting player feedback before rolling this update out to everyone. The developer is clearly in an active phase of post-launch content delivery, with a substantial update in preview right now and an explicit track record of adding new content (not just bug fixes) since reclaiming publishing rights in April 2026.
