Ubaste

Ubaste is a free-to-play 3D platformer that launched on September 26, 2022. After release, the solo developer (RESB) was actively communicating and patching the game through late 2022 and into early 2023, adding camera controls, a coin system, performance improvements, and bug fixes. Throughout this period, the developer repeatedly announced a planned Workshop feature that would allow players to build and share their own levels — citing the game's limited level count as a known shortcoming. Updates in October, November 2022, and January 2023 all showed work-in-progress screenshots and videos of the level editor. The January 29, 2023 post was the last communication from the developer, showing continued progress on the Workshop UI. Since January 29, 2023, there have been no further posts, patches, or announcements of any kind. The Workshop feature that was actively being developed and publicly promised has never shipped and was never officially cancelled or explained. More than three years have passed with no word from the developer, making it impossible to determine whether this feature is still being worked on, was quietly abandoned, or whether the developer has moved on entirely.
