Ultra Fight Da! Kyanta 2 remains in Early Access and continues to receive regular, substantial updates from its solo developer. Since late 2022, the game has shipped at least six major content updates, each typically adding new playable characters and stages: the large Patch 22 overhaul (November 17, 2022), new character Myusha in Patch 49 (May 29, 2024), new character Japan Kamen and the Hiratsuka stage in Patch 54 (June 3, 2025), and most recently a collaboration with the game ROBO OH introducing the character Grand Sky in Patch 57 (May 30, 2026). A follow-up feature patch (Patch 59) landed on June 9, 2026, just weeks ago. This establishes a clear, sustained pattern of meaningful additions roughly every 6–12 months, with smaller feature and balance patches in between. The developer has also explicitly stated plans to add a tutorial mode in the future, and the March 2023 patch notes reaffirm the developer's intent to "continue to work hard on bug fixes, feature additions, and other version upgrades and balance adjustments." There is no indication that development is winding down.
