Ultros launched on February 13, 2024 as a complete, self-contained psychedelic metroidvania. The only DLC listed are a digital artbook and a soundtrack, both released on launch day — no paid content expansions or post-launch story DLC have been announced or listed on the store.
Post-launch, the developer shipped gameplay and quality-of-life patches (February and March 2024), then opened a public test branch in November 2024 with further improvements including reduced install size, map enhancements, and gameplay tweaks. On February 13–14, 2025, the game expanded to Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X|S, and the team celebrated reaching 100,000 copies sold on the first anniversary. A physical art book collaboration with Lost in Cult was also announced around that milestone.
None of these post-launch activities indicate new game content is planned. The platform expansion brought the existing game to new audiences rather than adding content to it, and the art book is a physical merchandise product. Developer communications have been consistent with a shipped, finished game receiving polish and platform ports. The most recent substantive developer communication was the first anniversary post on February 13, 2025, and the Switch/Xbox launch on February 14, 2025. There is no roadmap, no announced DLC, and no outstanding commitments from the developer suggesting additional content is coming.
