Unavowed launched on August 8, 2018 as a complete, self-contained adventure game. Its only DLC is the official soundtrack, which was released on the same day as the game. The store description and all developer communications describe a finished product with no mention of expansions, sequels, or additional story content for this title.
Since launch, Wadjet Eye Games has continued to maintain the game with engine upgrades, bug fixes, quality-of-life improvements (such as a config tool and global settings), and a Linux build — most recently a hotfix on June 12, 2026. These are purely maintenance updates; none introduce new story content or announce future expansions for Unavowed itself.
Developer news posts from 2025 reference the studio's upcoming game Old Skies, a separate title. Unavowed is occasionally bundled into charity sale promotions alongside that announcement, but no new content for Unavowed has been announced or implied. The game launched as a complete package and has remained so.
