Unending Galaxy

Unending Galaxy is a space-sim/4X strategy game that launched on February 19, 2016 and received several content updates during its active development period. The game's final update, version 1.3.6, shipped on May 29, 2018, and its predecessor, version 1.3.5 released on April 12, 2018, was explicitly described by the developer as "most likely the final update for Unending Galaxy." The developer has since moved on to a new project called After The Collapse, which was announced in August 2017 and entered Early Access in late 2018. The game's own Steam store description now includes a direct warning from the developer: "UG is no longer under active development." This is an unambiguous statement that development has concluded. The last developer communication mentioning this game at all was a July 2, 2019 post that simply noted Unending Galaxy was on sale during the Steam Summer Sale — no new content or updates were referenced. No DLC has ever been listed, and no future content has been announced. The game shipped as a complete product and received post-launch updates through 2018 before the developer officially closed the book on it.
