Evaluation

Unfair Flips launched on September 25, 2025 as a deliberately compact incremental clicker with a defined goal — flip a coin until you get ten heads in a row. The store description presents it as a complete, self-contained experience. The developer shipped several post-launch patches addressing bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements through November 2025, followed by an April Fools update on April 1, 2026 (reverted the next day, with an optional beta branch for players who wanted to keep it). On July 1, 2026, the developer announced an upcoming "almost-anniversary update" that would add a developer commentary mode and Steam community items (trading cards, badges, backgrounds). That update — called the Pre-Anniversary Update — shipped on August 4, 2026, delivering both promised features exactly as described. The August 4, 2026 post also promotes a separate game called 500 FINGER FILLET, developed under a new studio (DEADBODY Games). This is an entirely distinct project, not an Unfair Flips expansion. The same post includes no mention of further planned content for Unfair Flips itself. With the announced update now delivered and no further content indicated for Unfair Flips, the game appears complete as of August 4, 2026. The developer has moved their primary focus to 500 FINGER FILLET.

About this game

The year is 50,002. All of humanity has crumbled to dust. The only remnants are faceless creatures who wear masks of long-extinct animals, repeating the systems of humans who have disappeared millennia ago. There is no war, but suffering abounds in the vast stretches of posthuman eternity. Today, it is your turn to suffer.

Unfair Flips is a short incremental clicker about flipping the world's worst coin over and over until you get ten heads in a row. The game practices true randomness; it is possible that the first ten times you flip the coin will be all heads. However, it's exceedingly unlikely; with a 20% chance of flipping heads each time, your odds of getting ten in a row are one in 9,765,625. As you play, you can push the odds to be more in your favor, chaining heads together to upgrade your coin. However, getting ten heads in a row will never be guaranteed.
