Utopos entered Steam Early Access on March 29, 2021. In the weeks following launch, the developer was active — shipping a series of patches between March 31 and April 22, 2021 that addressed bugs, added AI bots, improved networking, and introduced new game modes. However, all known developer communication stops on April 22, 2021. There have been no patch notes, announcements, or updates of any kind from the developer since that date — now more than five years ago.
The game remains in Early Access on Steam, meaning the developer has not declared it complete or released it as a finished 1.0 product. No roadmap, completion timeline, or future content plans were ever publicly communicated. With the developer having gone silent for over five years while the game is still officially labeled as unfinished, it is unclear whether development is still ongoing or has been quietly abandoned.
