Valley launched on August 24, 2016 as a complete, self-contained first-person adventure game. In the months following release, Blue Isle Studios shipped a series of patches (1.01 through 1.05) addressing bugs, adding platform support for Mac and Linux, and making minor quality-of-life improvements such as cutscene skipping. The last developer communication was a patch note posted on January 26, 2017. The only DLC ever released is the game's soundtrack, which launched alongside the game on August 24, 2016. No expansions, additional story content, or new gameplay content have ever been announced or released. The store description presents Valley as a complete narrative experience with no mention of ongoing content. The developer has made no communications of any kind since January 26, 2017. Valley launched as a finished product and has remained so.
