Valor Mortis became available on Steam on October 13, 2026, as a first-person action soulslike with a campaign the developer describes as about 20 hours long. The developer has already announced further content. A Major Story DLC that will tell a separate side story in the same world is planned for next year (2027) and is included in the Deluxe Edition. A New Game+ mode, which carries progression and loot into a harder second playthrough, is planned for later in 2026. The developer also says multiple free updates are planned for the weeks and months after launch, and it has said it wants to add a fully voiced French version later. The Deluxe Upgrade, including a first cosmetic weapon skin pack, is available now. Pre-launch posts described the game as being in its final stages of development, but the developer's later posts lay out this post-launch plan.
