Vanishing Realms™

Vanishing Realms launched in Early Access in 2016 and officially left Early Access on August 23, 2019, when The Sundered Rift expansion was released alongside the completed base game. The developer explicitly stated in the August 2019 launch post that "development focus will shift to updating the base game and new Expansion as needed to fix any new playability issues and bugs folks may encounter" — a clear signal that active content development had concluded and the game was transitioning to maintenance-only support. The only DLC, The Sundered Rift, was released on August 23, 2019. A small balance and bug fix patch followed on April 8, 2020, which is the last recorded developer communication. No further updates, announcements, or roadmap content have been posted since then. The developer made no promises of additional chapters, expansions, or future DLC after the 1.0 launch — in fact, the launch post explicitly framed the shift away from content development. The game shipped as a complete, finished product at its 1.0 release, with its single planned expansion already included on launch day. The April 2020 patch represents the last known developer activity and the point at which even maintenance updates appear to have concluded.
