Viet Quoc Truyen Ky is a free-to-play Early Access MMORPG that launched on April 11, 2025. Its development story has been turbulent. Just over a month after launch, on June 6, 2025, the developer posted a stark announcement: the development team had disbanded entirely, leaving only a single person — the post's author — to continue running and developing the game. That individual kept things moving, shipping feature patches through the summer and fall of 2025, including a marriage system (August 22, 2025) and costume features (September 23, 2025). On September 30, 2025, that solo developer posted an announcement declaring the completion of all class skills and "the completion of game feature development" — suggesting the game's core systems were now finalized. However, a major content update followed on December 5, 2025, adding an entirely new dungeon called Dead Sea Subversion for high-level players, which shows that content additions continued even after the "completion" declaration. The last known developer communication was that December 5, 2025 update. As of June 27, 2026, more than six months have passed with no posts, patches, or announcements. The game is also no longer available for purchase on Steam. Given that the game is being maintained by a single person following a team disbandment, and given the extended silence combined with the storefront becoming unavailable, there is real uncertainty about whether the game is still actively operated or receiving any further development.

Leveling Up
