Viridi launched on August 19, 2015 as a free-to-play succulent gardening game. It received major content updates in October 2015 and June 2016, then went quiet for several years while the team focused on their other game, Tenderfoot Tactics (released October 2020). After a roughly seven-year content gap, the developer returned to Viridi on October 21, 2025 with the Crystal Gyroscope Update — described as "our first Viridi update since 2018."
