Void Sols launched on November 12, 2024 as a complete, hand-crafted souls-like game. Following launch, the developer shipped several patches addressing bugs and balance issues, and then on January 16, 2025, released the Randomiser Update — a substantial free content addition introducing a full randomiser mode with permadeath and other new gameplay options. This represents the second major content drop after launch (the first being the feature-rich patch on November 27, 2024 that added Steam Deck verification and significant new features). The two DLC items listed on the store — the Soundtrack and the Artbook/Hero's Journal — both released on launch day and are purely supplementary digital extras, not gameplay expansions. No additional content has been announced since the Randomiser Update on January 16, 2025. The developer has made no roadmap, season pass, or promises of further updates.
