Watcher Chronicles launched on January 19, 2022 as a complete 2D souls-like action RPG. Following launch, the developer posted a series of feature patches and bug fixes through July 13, 2022, addressing balance issues, improving co-op functionality, adding minor features, and polishing the experience. The last developer communication on record is that July 13, 2022 bug fix update. Since then — nearly four years ago — there has been no further communication, no announced content, and no unreleased DLC on the store. The only DLC listed is a soundtrack that released alongside the base game on launch day. The developer never announced expansions, a roadmap, or additional content of any kind. The post-launch activity consisted entirely of polish and maintenance patches typical of a newly shipped indie title, with no sustained pattern of major content additions. The game shipped as a finished product and has received no further development activity since mid-2022.
