War Brokers has been in Early Access since April 18, 2018, and remains actively developed as of the assessment date. Trebuchet Entertainment LLC has maintained a consistent, long-running update cadence — 50 news posts scanned, including 2 major content drops, 20 feature patches, and 25 bug fixes in the available data. Major updates continue to arrive regularly, featuring new guns, maps, game modes, and seasonal events. Recent highlights include a Halloween event and the new MP7 weapon in October 2025 (v537), a holiday Zombie Battle Royale event in December 2025 (v539), and most recently the Alien Dead City summer seasonal event plus a brand new map called Desert Redux on June 29, 2026 (v542), followed immediately by a bug-fix patch on June 30, 2026 (v543). The developer has never announced a 1.0 release date or indicated that development is winding down. The stream of updates — including a major content drop just two months before this assessment — shows no sign of stopping.

War Brokers is a fast paced, first person, 3D shooter focused on fun and tactical choices. Players start on an equal footing with access to all weapons and vehicles. Fight with up to 15 other players on one of 9 unique maps. Choose from an arsenal of 17 weapons. Each one carefully tuned for a different feel and play style. Drive an APC or a tank to fight the enemy from a moving armored fortress. Fly a helicopter or jet while raining down terror down from the sky. Ride along as a gunner in a helicopter or tank. A player's skill and tactical choices will win the day.
Play five challenging game modes where teamwork is key to winning.
Team Deathmatch:
Work with your team to score the most kills before the timer ends.
Package Retrieval:
A diplomat’s airplane is shot out of the sky, and his important papers are parachuting down. Grab the suitcase and deliver it to your drop off point. Just be aware the enemy is going to try and get those top secret files first so you need to be quick!
Team Capture Point:
Defeat your enemies to lower their flags and raise your own.
Missile Launch:
You have 3 missiles. Try to get them launched as the enemy battles to stop you.
Vehicle Escort:
Stop the enemy as they work to escort their vehicle to its final destination.
