Warden's Will

Warden's Will launched on January 8, 2025 as a fast-paced roguelite shooter and received a healthy stream of post-launch updates in the first few months. The developer published a formal three-step roadmap on January 21, 2025, committing to new features, game modes, bosses, and enemies. Several major updates followed — including a large content drop on March 13, 2025 adding new bosses, enemies, and 28 ability upgrades — and a new game mode called Necrorift was previewed in beta testing as of February 6, 2025. The developer explicitly said on February 14, 2025: "We're not done, we'll keep expanding the world of Warden's Will." However, the most recent developer communication of any kind was on April 4, 2025 — a discount announcement accompanying the March update. Since then, as of October 1, 2026, there has been approximately 18 months of complete silence. The roadmap's Step 3 content (new game modes, additional bosses and enemies) has not been confirmed as shipped, and the game's soundtrack DLC remains listed on the store without a release date. The developer has not issued any statement clarifying whether development is continuing, paused, or concluded. Given the outstanding roadmap commitments, the unshipped DLC, and the extended silence with no explanation, the situation is uncertain — the promised content may still be in development, but there has been no communication to confirm it.
