Evaluation

Warhammer 40,000: Fire Warrior (Classic) is a re-release of the original 2003 game, published by SNEG on Steam on April 13, 2026. The release focuses on compatibility modernization: updated support for modern Windows, 4K resolution with proper HUD scaling, borderless fullscreen, Steam Achievements, and Steam Cloud. A follow-up patch on April 24, 2026 addressed mouse input behavior, aspect ratio stretching, and FOV capping. No future content, DLC, or expansion has been announced. SNEG has not made any statements about the game's ongoing development direction. Because this launch is recent, it is too early to determine whether the publisher intends additional updates or considers the re-release work complete.
