Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground

Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground launched on May 26, 2021. In the weeks and months following launch, Gasket Games actively communicated with players and shipped a series of patches: Patch 1.1 (June 16, 2021) addressed stability and balance; Patch 1.2 (July 1, 2021) fixed crashes and progression blockers; Patch 1.3 (August 25, 2021) delivered substantial feature improvements including UI overhauls, new encounter types, new multiplayer maps, and extensive balance changes; and Patch 1.4 (December 7, 2021) addressed further multiplayer stability and balance issues. That December 2021 patch is the last recorded developer communication of any kind. No posts, updates, or announcements have followed. The sole DLC — the Spoils of War Weapon Pack — was a pre-order bonus that released on launch day (May 26, 2021) and is the only additional content ever listed for the game. No unreleased DLC exists on the store. At launch, the CEO expressed hope that the game would deliver an experience "that lasts for years to come," but this aspirational language was never followed up with announced expansions, roadmaps, or named future content. The post-launch update pattern — four patches across roughly six months — was focused on stability, balance, and quality-of-life improvements rather than new major content. After December 7, 2021, all developer activity ceased with no explanation or farewell post. Given that there are no unreleased DLC, no announced future content, no further developer communication since December 7, 2021, and a post-launch patch cadence that concluded over four years ago, the game is best understood as a complete, finished product. The last patch on December 7, 2021 represents the practical end of active development.
