Evaluation

Watertight is a free-to-play short horror experience that launched on August 25, 2025. The store description explicitly describes it as "a short psychological-horror experience" and "a concise, intense experience designed to be finished in 30 minutes" — language that positions this as a complete, self-contained product rather than a platform for ongoing content. There is no season pass, no DLC, and no roadmap. The only post-launch developer communication is a small balance patch on August 31, 2025, which tweaked puzzle difficulty based on community feedback. No further content has been announced, and the game's design and description are consistent with a finished product that launched complete. Tiny Studio has not communicated any plans for expansions, additional story content, or future updates beyond that single maintenance patch.

THE STORY

Morgan Spedden was just seven years old when he survived the Titanic’s sinking. Both of his parents were lost to the icy depths. Consumed by survivor’s guilt and a lifelong obsession to uncover the wreck, he poured decades into research and planning. In 1952, he abandons everything he holds dear to captain a one-man submarine into the abyss. What he discovers deep beneath the ocean may finally answer his questions… or destroy what’s left of his sanity.
