We are Eva

We are Eva launched on June 16, 2023 as a complete 2D platformer. The developer has continued to support it with periodic patches since then — a controller overhaul and leaderboard improvements in late 2023, Steam Deck verification and a compatibility fix in August–September 2025. The most notable recent development is a post on August 17, 2026, where the developer announced confirmed console versions of the game. This was tied to the Ukrainian Games Festival, which also featured the largest discount the game has ever received (-90%). The console announcement is a concrete statement from the developer that additional platform versions are actively in development. The August 2025 Steam Deck update even included a teaser note — Eva was "caught measuring herself to see if she'd fit in a console" — suggesting the console work had been underway for some time before the formal announcement. The only DLC is the Original Soundtrack, which released on launch day. No paid content expansions have been announced. The console release is a platform port rather than new story or gameplay content, but it does represent publicly confirmed ongoing development work by the studio.
