Weapons Genius

Weapons Genius launched on July 8, 2015. The developer released one paid DLC — Weapons Genius: Modern Guns — on March 12, 2020, which was announced in a February 18, 2020 developer post. That same post also mentioned plans for a VR version and a new game built on Weapons Genius's foundation, indicating the developer's ambitions were shifting away from the base game toward a new project. The Modern Guns DLC is the only DLC in the store listing and it is fully released. There have been no further updates, patches, or developer communications for Weapons Genius after March 2020. The news posts from late 2025 that appear in the feed are for entirely different games published by the same publisher (Brotherhood, Stones Keeper II, Decadent Heir, Heads Will Roll: Reforged, Skelethrone) — none of them relate to Weapons Genius. The developer's February 2020 post explicitly stated they were working on a new game as a successor, signaling that meaningful development effort had moved on. With no post-launch update activity since March 2020, all DLC released, and over six years of silence on this specific title, the game is complete.
