Evaluation
Wheels of Aurelia launched on September 20, 2016 and received a series of post-launch feature updates over the following months — adding new visual modes, language support, and accessibility options. On December 23, 2016, the developer posted a final update that introduced the Wheelspedia in-game archive and explicitly stated: "This is the last update for Wheels of Aurelia for the near future." They also announced that the previously planned "Night Mode" had been delayed indefinitely, and would only be revisited "if there is enough interest." Night Mode was never released. Since that December 2016 post, all subsequent developer news from Santa Ragione has focused entirely on new games — Milky Way Prince (announced June 2020, released August 2020), Saturnalia (announced May 2023), and Mediterranea Inferno (announced June 2023). There have been no further updates, patches, or communications about Wheels of Aurelia itself. The only DLC — the original soundtrack — shipped on launch day. The game is complete.
Evidence
Developer explicitly stated this is the last update for Wheels of Aurelia for the near future, and indefinitely delayed the previously planned Night Mode feature.
The only DLC — the original soundtrack — was released on launch day. No unreleased DLC exists.

About this game
A narrative road trip game set in the roaring Italian 70s, it tells the story of Lella, a restless woman driving on the roads of the western coast of Italy, the famous “Via Aurelia”.
This is an interactive fiction in the shape of an isometric driving game and with a focus on replayability: every playthrough lasts about fifteen minutes and there are sixteen different endings to discover.
The 1970s in Italy were a time of terrorism, kidnappings, and political turmoil. Based on your choices and the places you'll decide to visit you may end up in car chases, illegal street races, or in tense debates with a catholic priest, and more from a cast of characters that you have never met before in a video game.
