While Waiting launched on February 5, 2025 with 100 waiting scenarios. Following launch, Optillusion shipped two post-launch patches (February 11 and February 21, 2025) adding quality-of-life features and bug fixes, demonstrating active engagement with player feedback. The most forward-looking developer communication was an April 30, 2025 update where Optillusion mentioned "hints about what's next" at PAX East and wrote "there's lots more to come." At the time of the previous evaluation, this was treated as a content commitment. However, that statement is now over 17 months old (as of October 1, 2026), and no specific content has been announced, no unreleased DLC has appeared on the store, and there have been no further developer communications since April 30, 2025. The vague "lots more to come" phrasing — made at a PAX East booth event — has not been followed by any roadmap, DLC listing, or update announcement in the intervening period. With no unreleased DLC on the store, no subsequent developer statement reaffirming planned content, and no developer communication of any kind since April 30, 2025, there is no concrete basis to sustain a content warning. The game has no established post-launch major content cadence (only one major_content entry — the launch itself), and the silence since April 2025 far exceeds the 6-month threshold. The April 2025 teaser is best understood as a general marketing statement that was not followed through with any announced deliverable.
