Evaluation
Who Pressed Mute on Uncle Marcus? is a self-contained FMV murder mystery that launched on March 18, 2022. Wales Interactive treated it as a complete, finished product from day one — there are no DLC listings, no season pass, and no announced post-launch content expansions specific to this game. The developer issued a community-requested improvement to the skip function in June 2022, and applied a minor bug fix and optimisation patch in September 2024, showing they've kept the game maintained, but neither update added new story content. The news posts from 2023 onward are announcements for entirely separate Wales Interactive titles (Mia and the Dragon Princess and The Isle Tide Hotel), not content additions to this game. The store description presents the game as a complete narrative experience with no mention of planned additions. This game launched as a finished product and has remained so.
