Who's Who?

Who's Who? launched on August 29, 2022 with four game modes, followed by a Halloween update in October 2022 and a post-launch roadmap. The original developer, G1 Playground, was ultimately unable to continue development. On March 20, 2025, G1 Playground posted a clear farewell message explaining that the original team had formed a new company (Nightvendors Studio) and launched a separate, standalone successor title — Who's Who 2.0 — on Steam. The post explicitly states "we couldn't continue developing the game on our own" and closes with "We will join you guys as players in the new version. We will see you guys all in the new game." This is a definitive developer statement that active development of Who's Who? by G1 Playground has concluded. The new game (Who's Who 2.0, App ID 3391260) is a separate Steam product under a different studio. There have been no developer communications for Who's Who? from G1 Playground after March 20, 2025 — now over 18 months ago as of September 2026. The game remains purchasable on Steam as a complete, finished product. The last content shipped for this game was its final feature-updated state before the studio's departure, and the March 20, 2025 announcement serves as the formal conclusion of its development lifecycle. The completion date is set to March 20, 2025, the date of the developer's final statement closing out the game.
