Wizordum launched into its full 1.0 release on April 29, 2025, after a period in Early Access. The launch brought the concluding Episode 3, new weapons, and quality-of-life improvements across all previous content. Since launch, the developer has maintained a consistent and active update cadence. On May 15, 2025, a feature patch added lore fragments to all existing levels and expanded modding capabilities. On September 23, 2025, the game launched on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox. On November 6, 2025, a major update brought the community-created level browser to all console platforms. On December 18, 2025, the developer shipped the Bloodmage — an entirely new playable class with unique weapons, spells, and mechanics — as a free PC update. A March 24, 2026 developer post confirmed that work was ongoing to bring the Bloodmage update to consoles, along with another PC update featuring bug fixes and expanded modding and level-editing features. They also mentioned work on making the game's soundtrack available. Most recently, on September 22, 2026, the developer shipped update v1.2.05, adding 7 new weapon upgrades, an arachnophobia filter, expanded level editor action scripting, and a large set of bug fixes. Notably, the post closed with: "We'll have more exciting news to share with you about Wizordum very soon!" — a clear signal that additional announcements are forthcoming. This establishes a sustained pattern of major content additions post-launch, with the developer actively engaged and explicitly signaling more to come. No announcement of a final update or end of development has been made.
