Wobbly Life exited Early Access on September 18, 2025 with the major v1.0 Space Update, which added an entirely new open world, jobs, missions, spaceships, and over 150 clothing items. The developers described this as a milestone moment after five years of development. Since the 1.0 launch, the developer has continued to expand the game's reach significantly. On May 29, 2025, the game launched on Nintendo Switch. On August 20, 2026 — just one week before today's assessment — RubberBandGames simultaneously launched Wobbly Life on Nintendo Switch 2 and on Android/iOS mobile devices. The Switch 2 announcement notes that it includes "The Space Update" as part of what's on offer, and the mobile FAQ confirms the mobile version carries exactly the same content as the PC version. This flurry of platform launches in 2025–2026 shows the developer is actively supporting and expanding the product. While no specific new content (new levels, DLC, etc.) has been announced for the PC/Steam version, the developer has not stated that development is complete, and the pace of activity — including a brand-new multi-platform launch as of August 20, 2026 — is inconsistent with a studio that has fully wound down. The game has a history of substantial content updates during Early Access, and the developer has given no indication they are done. The only DLC on the Steam store is the Original Game Soundtrack, released November 22, 2024, and no unreleased DLC is listed. However, the sustained platform expansion activity and the very recent August 20, 2026 launches suggest RubberBandGames is in an active phase of the game's lifecycle, not a wind-down phase.
