Amazing Frog? has been in Early Access since November 21, 2014 and remains actively under development by the solo/small studio Fayju. The developer has maintained a remarkably consistent cadence of major content updates, shipping at least 8 significant updates between October 2023 and April 2026 alone — roughly one every 1-3 months. The most recent major update, "The Wildlife Update," landed on April 10, 2026, introducing a new jobs system, and a follow-up bug fix patch arrived on April 20, 2026. A June 2024 announcement described the current development phase as "the final push to leave Early Access," signaling that a full 1.0 release is a stated goal. In November 2025, the developer posted an 11-year anniversary message reaffirming their love of making the game and teasing a second project, Amazing Frog? 2, is also in progress — confirming the studio is actively engaged on multiple fronts. An August 2023 developer blog directly addressed concerns about the game being abandoned, stating "Amazing Frog? has always been in ongoing development" and describing recent months as their most productive. The subsequent two-plus years of frequent updates bear that out. This game is still unfinished by its own developer's definition, receiving regular and substantial new content, and moving toward — but not yet at — a full release.

It doesnt hurt to get very rich, so load up the Bank of Swindon. Also, you never know what we might add next and what items may come in handy. So, collect everything from berries and other produce, zombie flesh, jam jars, money, skulls, fish or dead pigeons ...EVERYTHING! (… there are so many items you can put in your inventory)
