Amazing Frog? 2 is an Early Access game that the developer, Fayju, has explicitly committed to continuing. On December 31, 2024, the developer wrote "We are still working on Amazing Frog? 2! We have been working on Amazing Frog? 2 and we will continue to do so until Hell Freezes over." The September 23, 2024 development update reinforced this, describing the game as "just getting started" with "so much more scope for the future."
The game has a sustained history of updates since its June 2022 launch: seasonal feature patches through 2022 and 2023 (Easter grapple hook, Holiday sandbox update), followed by a Spring Update in March 2024. A February 13, 2025 post described active work on a giant snake enemy, an arcade game system, and a migration to the Unity 6 engine — with the developer writing "Expect Snakes." A follow-up bug fix dropped on February 18, 2025.
However, that February 18, 2025 patch is the last developer communication of any kind. As of October 1, 2026, there have been no further posts, patches, or announcements in over 19 months. The February 2025 post explained that the team's primary focus through the first half of 2025 would be on their other title, Amazing Frog? QMMT — but that stated window has passed with no return communication about Amazing Frog? 2. The promised content (snake, arcade system, Unity 6 migration) has not shipped, and the developer has not provided any update on its status. This extended silence, following a communicated development priority shift whose timeframe has now expired, raises genuine uncertainty about whether development is actively continuing as previously described.

Ever wondered what frogs get up to in their spare time? There are loads of different items to interact with in the game including (but not limited to): balloons, tanks, eggs, weapons and sports balls (YAY SPORTS). And if none of that appeals to you, you can always shoot yourself out of cannon just to feel the wind on your froggy face.
Frogs aren’t the only ones getting up to no good in Swindon. Search around town and you might just come across a muddy pig waiting to be ridden. How about a nice, friendly race with some friends?
If you’ve got more exotic tastes, the tourism board of Swindon recommends NOT going into the sewers. (We are not part of the tourism board and, therefore, heavily encourage it.)
