Wonderia entered Steam Early Access on July 22–23, 2026, after approximately four years of development by Rock & Dash, and remains in Early Access as of today (September 24, 2026). The developer has been consistently transparent about the game's unfinished state and ongoing plans. At launch, the developer published an Early Access roadmap showing planned content phases beyond the initial version and described this as the beginning of a collaborative development process with players. The studio has maintained a high-cadence update schedule since launch: feature patches shipped on August 2, August 11, August 15, and August 28, 2026, followed by the v0.6 major update on September 17, 2026, which overhauled the save system, added difficulty presets, and expanded world customization options. The v0.6 patch notes themselves confirm ongoing development work: the team states that individual world rules "are still being developed" and that they will "keep adjusting the presets and adding configurable options based on how people play." A prior patch on August 15, 2026 listed three features explicitly in active development at that time — a temple content refresh system, additional world rule options, and player/world data separation — of which the data separation was delivered in v0.6, while the others remain ongoing. A January 2025 dev log described multiple features still being worked on at that time, including a new biome, skill system, and public server support, some of which have since shipped and some of which have not been publicly confirmed as delivered yet. The developer is actively communicating with players, shipping updates at a rapid pace, and has explicitly stated that more content and features are coming. This is a game in the middle of its Early Access journey with clear commitments still outstanding.
