Evaluation
On April 14, 2025, Vertigo Games announced that they had made the difficult decision not to bring World of Diving out of Early Access. The game was de-listed from the Steam store on May 1, 2025, and is no longer available for purchase. Players who already own the game retain access to it. The store confirms this — there are no purchase options currently available. The game entered Early Access in August 2014 and spent over a decade in that state, never reaching a full 1.0 release. Development effectively ended with this announcement.
