Evaluation
World of Robots is a free-to-play online multiplayer robot combat game built around an ongoing live service model. The store description explicitly states that the developer is "always adding something new in the game — new weapons, maps, and other features," and the update history fully supports this.
Since launch in March 2022, the developer has shipped at least 16 content updates, introducing new factions (including the full Japanese faction on August 4, 2025), new robots, weapons, progression systems (pilots, leagues, clan battles), skins, and PvP mechanics. Updates have arrived consistently, roughly every 1–4 months, with no sign of slowing. The most recent update (1.34.0), which added two new robots and a heavy homing missile system, was posted on September 24, 2026 — just two days before today's date. There is no indication from the developer that content additions are concluding.
Evidence
Update 1.34.0 added two new robots (SHR-81M and SHR-80) and a new heavy homing missile system (SS-250), confirming active content development as of September 24, 2026.
The Japanese faction launched with 3 new robots and 11 weapon types, demonstrating major new content additions post-launch.
