Yakiniku simulator

Yakiniku Simulator launched on June 3, 2022 as a simple, low-cost casual simulation game. In the months following launch, the developer actively added content: a Free Mode update arrived the day after launch (June 4, 2022), new challenge modes were added via patches in June and July 2022, and a major Online Competitive Mode launched on July 7, 2023. The game also expanded to Nintendo Switch on August 31, 2023 with Steam cross-play support. Further patches in September and October 2023 added controller support, scoreboards, and daily/monthly rankings. The last substantive feature update was on December 25, 2023 (version 2.1.1), which added V-sync settings, frame rate controls, and memory usage improvements. The most recent developer communication was a security patch (version 2.1.2) on October 8, 2025 — a maintenance-only update that shows the developer still tends to the game but does not indicate new content. No future content has been announced, no unreleased DLC exists, and the developer has made no statements about additional features or expansions. The game appears to have reached its final feature state with the December 2023 update, with the October 2025 patch serving as routine maintenance.
