YinYang Street originally launched on August 30, 2023 as a complete five-chapter horror adventure game. The developer shipped several polish and balance patches in the weeks following launch, then on January 31, 2024, released the "Ultimate Edition" — an enhanced version of the game adding new content to the final chapter (battlefield memories, flashbacks, and an improved mini-game experience), along with additional bug fixes. The game's title on Steam reflects this Ultimate Edition branding. The one DLC in the store, the Fan Pack (a cosmetic bonus with wallpapers, art book, and soundtrack), was released on August 30, 2023 and has no unreleased counterparts. The most recent developer communication was on August 20, 2025, when the team added controller support to celebrate the game's second anniversary — a maintenance improvement rather than a content addition. No new content has been announced, no roadmap or future DLC has been referenced, and the developer has not indicated any further content is planned. Is this a coincidence or a conspiracy? Minglai Li has no time to think about it. All he could do is rush to YinYang Street and explore the bottomless abyss...
