Evaluation
Zombie Derby launched on April 20, 2018 as a port of an existing mobile game. It received a significant remastered update on November 14, 2022 (ZD1 Remastered), which overhauled graphics, physics, interface, and controls. There are no unreleased DLC items on the store.
The developer's most recent news post for this game, from August 18, 2026, announced a sale and two upcoming titles from Brinemedia — Zombie Derby: Blocky Roads (a sequel to Zombie Derby: Pixel Survival) and Madness Road: Reborn. These are separate, newly announced games, not content planned for Zombie Derby itself. No additional content for Zombie Derby was announced.
An earlier January 2024 post noted that "the Zombie Derby game series continues to be supported," but subsequent posts have focused entirely on other titles in the studio's portfolio. The November 2022 remastered update remains the last substantive work done on Zombie Derby, and the developer has made no announcements of further content for it. The game launched as a finished product and its content has been stable since the November 2022 remaster.

Do you have the drive to survive? Real men have two favourite things; cars and guns. And no stinking zombie apocalypse is going to change that. Take control of your car to see how far you can get and how many zombies you can kill – and if you can actually escape with your brains intact.
5 cars are available to get you to the final fort, each capable of holding progressively more loot. Ranging from the simple Redneck pick-up and the classy Hunter and to the tough Sledge and frankly-silly Harvester, you’ll enjoy throwing these bodged-up jalopies at the lines of the undead. Each is highly customisable, with 15 upgrades including spiked bumpers, improved tyres, buffed engines, and more ammo, fuel and nitros. With 8 locations to traverse, handsome 3D graphics and gory shambling bodies, Zombie Derby is a killer game.
