Zombie Derby 2 launched on January 25, 2018 and received a handful of post-launch updates, including a new transport mode with 6 levels in August 2018 and a feature update in March 2023 adding Steam Deck support, improved controls, and balance changes. The store description explicitly states "This is the complete version. It includes all modes, 'Extreme' and 'Halloween' levels," signalling a finished, self-contained package.
The developer's news activity since March 2023 has been entirely focused on their newer titles — Stunt Paradise (released March 2024) and Stunt Paradise 2 (demo released February 2026) — rather than Zombie Derby 2. A January 2024 post did briefly note that "The Zombie Derby game series continues to be supported," but no specific updates or new content have been delivered to Zombie Derby 2 since March 2023, and no future content has been announced for it.
