1000 Amps launched on February 22, 2012 as a self-contained puzzle-exploration game with no post-launch content roadmap or DLC plans announced. The developer, Brandon Brizzi, issued a significant v2.0 technical overhaul on July 12, 2015 — migrating the game away from Flash, adding Steam achievements, a mini-map, and other quality-of-life improvements — but this was a refinement of the existing game, not new story or gameplay content. A prior bug-fix post on November 11, 2014 addressed a Windows 8.1 compatibility issue. Since the July 2015 post, there have been no further developer communications. The store description describes a complete, self-contained experience with over 150 rooms, no mention of DLC, expansions, or ongoing updates. The game launched as a finished product and has received only maintenance and compatibility work since then.
