Evaluation

303 Squadron: Battle of Britain launched on August 31, 2018 and received a steady stream of patches and feature updates through its post-launch life. The developer shipped several feature-bearing updates in the months after launch (versions 1.4.1 through 1.4.5.1 between September and December 2018), followed by a larger improvement patch in June 2019 (version 1.5.1.2), and then a substantial "Update 2.0" on August 13, 2021, which overhauled the London map, added a shooting range, new achievements, and new content. Two follow-up patches (2.0.1 on August 20, 2021 and 2.0.2 on August 25, 2021) addressed bugs introduced by that update. The last developer communication of any kind was on August 25, 2021. No further updates, announcements, or developer posts have appeared since that date. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced future content, and no roadmap pointing to anything beyond what has already shipped. The developer has never explicitly stated development is complete, but the pattern is consistent with a game that received its final major update in August 2021 and has been in maintenance-free status since. With nearly five years of silence following the last patch, and no outstanding commitments visible anywhere in the store or news history, the game is best understood as a finished product.
