64.0 launched on March 16, 2017 as a complete arcade game. In the months following launch, the developer shipped several feature patches adding controller support, a level editor, and various fixes. The game received its most substantial post-launch update on December 20, 2018 (Version 1.1), which added three new community-created levels promoted into the main game, a practice mode, and new achievements. A follow-up patch on December 7, 2019 (Version 1.1.2) added quality-of-life features such as visual rotation, custom colors for colorblind accessibility, key rebinding, and expanded Workshop support. A Nintendo Switch release was also announced in October 2019. The last developer communication was on December 7, 2019. No roadmap, announced DLC, or future content has been communicated since that date — now over six years ago. The sole DLC (the soundtrack, released on March 17, 2017) is fully released. The game launched as a self-contained product and its post-launch update activity has long since concluded, with Version 1.1.2 representing the final known update.

64.0 is a minimal fast-paced arcade game, where you shoot the squares that have the same color as the background, but since the background is constantly changing, everyone can be a bad guy!
