AdVenture Communist

AdVenture Communist has been in Early Access on Steam since August 23, 2016. The most recent developer communication was on January 24, 2017, when the team shipped update 0.1.6 and explicitly stated that "the game is far from finished" while promising ongoing work to build out the gameplay. They also indicated they would keep players informed of future priorities. However, no further updates, news posts, or communications of any kind have been made since that date. The game remains listed in Early Access with no 1.0 release, no roadmap, and no explanation for the prolonged silence. The developer's own words confirmed the game was unfinished and more content was planned, but over nine years have passed since January 24, 2017 with no follow-through, making it unclear whether development is still active.
