Aeris (BETA)

Aeris is a free-to-play flight simulator that launched on June 25, 2024. In the days immediately following launch, the developer posted a flurry of patches and small feature updates — a sound fix and branding update on June 26, a bug fix on June 27, and then a feature update (Update 1.1: The Nav Update) on July 5 adding night flying, new cockpit systems, autopilot, and improved physics, followed by two rapid bug fix patches on July 5 and July 7, 2024. After July 7, 2024, there have been no further developer posts of any kind. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced roadmap or future content, and no developer statement about ongoing plans. The game has no post-launch content cadence to speak of — all activity was confined to a 12-day window immediately after launch, consistent with a developer stabilizing a newly shipped product rather than building a sustained update cycle. With nearly two full years of silence since July 7, 2024 and no outstanding commitments, the game appears to have shipped as a finished product with no further content development.
