Evaluation
Albino Lullaby: Episode 1 launched on September 14, 2015 as the first installment of a planned episodic horror series. The store page explicitly advertises episodic releases with a "pay as you go or get a season pass" model, and the DLC list confirms this — Episode 3 is listed as an unreleased DLC with no release date.
The road to Episode 2 was long and turbulent. Ape Law first announced a March 22, 2018 release date for Episode 2 back in September 2017, but that date was never met. Development continued quietly for years, with the studio resurfacing in March 2023 to say their alpha build was nearly complete, and then in October 2023 to release a teaser trailer and announce content lock. Episode 2 — rebranded as a standalone title called *Alice's Lullaby* — was eventually announced for and released on October 8, 2024.
The last developer communication was the Alice's Lullaby launch announcement on September 14, 2024. Since then, there has been no update on Episode 3 or the broader Albino Lullaby series. Given the studio's history of extremely long gaps between communications and releases (the original Episode 2 was first promised in 2018 and arrived in 2024), and the absence of any roadmap or timeline for Episode 3, the status of that remaining content is genuinely uncertain. The studio is clearly still operating — they shipped Alice's Lullaby as recently as late 2024 — but whether and when Episode 3 will arrive is unknown.

About this game
Albino Lullaby is a horror adventure game that doesn't rely on jump scares or gore. A Lynchian psychological nightmare where you play as yourself. Escape from a dark and surreal Victorian town that clings to the precipices of underground cliffs. The gamespace dynamically twists and contorts around you in real time, as you unravel an equally twisted narrative. Discover the hidden spaces haunted by 'The Grandchildren' as you uncover clues to understanding just where and what you are. Albino Lullaby is set for initial release on the PC and will be fully VR compatible.
