Evaluation

Alfred Hitchcock - Vertigo launched on December 16, 2021 as a complete narrative adventure game. All four DLC items listed on the store — a digital artbook, cosmetic filters, a pre-purchase bonus, and the soundtrack — were all released on launch day, making them bundled extras rather than post-launch content expansions. Following launch, the developer issued a couple of polish patches in January and February 2022 addressing animation, audio, and visual issues, but no new story content or gameplay expansions were announced or delivered. The most recent news post on this game's Steam page (March 8, 2024) is actually a promotional announcement for a different Microids/Pendulo Studios title (Amerzone - The Explorer's Legacy), not new content for Vertigo. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced expansions, and no developer statements indicating further content is planned for this game. It shipped as a self-contained story and has remained complete since launch.
